Located in Akron, Ohio, they offer working in an office/home hybrid environment (Monday and Friday work from home, Tuesday – Thursday field of office)
The role of the Senior Mechanical Engineer is tailored for an individual seeking exhilarating challenges in the realm of Mechanical Engineering, navigating diverse tasks in industrial facilities, both expansive and intricate.
You will:
- Spearhead the engineering and specification of mechanical equipment, ranging from material handling systems to pumps, pressure vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, and various process equipment.
- Conduct pipe stress analysis and designing pipe supports.
- Take the lead as the primary engineer for projects, demonstrating seasoned expertise.
- Collaborate seamlessly with other engineering disciplines and clients to ensure holistic project success.
- Embrace the hands-on fieldwork as needed to bring projects to life.
You have:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree.
- 15+ plus years of rich experience in diverse engineering domains mentioned above.
- Professional Engineering license is a significant plus.
- Experience in piping flexibility studies, process equipment specifications (pumps, material handling, pressure vessels)
