What You’ll Do
As a Mid-Level Structural Engineer, you’ll play a key role within a remote design team, contributing to dynamic and challenging projects. You’ll focus on cold-formed steel design and light gauge steel framing for commercial and similar projects, with responsibilities that include:
- Design & Analysis: Perform structural analysis and design for diverse projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and industry standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with architects, contractors, and internal teams to deliver buildable designs.
- Problem Solving: Provide innovative solutions to solve structural challenges while maintaining efficiency and functionality.
- Technical Oversight: Review shop drawings and submittals, conduct evaluations as needed, and support project managers in successful project delivery.
What We’re Looking For
Our client is searching for a highly skilled Structural Engineer with the following qualifications:
- Professional Licensure: Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE), or the ability to obtain PE licensure within 1 year.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Relevant Experience: A minimum of 3 years of cold-formed steel design or light gauge steel framing experience in commercial or similar projects.
- Technical Proficiency: Understanding of structural design tools and compliance with building codes.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive in a remote work environment.
