District Sales Manager – Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings

Location: Greenville, SC | Columbia/Lexington, SC | Augusta, GA (Preferred)

About the Opportunity

We have been exclusively retained to identify a high-performing District Sales Manager (DSM) to take ownership of a well-established, revenue-generating territory in the Southeast.

This is not a startup territory. This is a mature, $10M+ book of business with significant room to grow — and a compensation structure that rewards top performers handsomely.

The Territory

The territory covers key markets across central and northern South Carolina and a defined corridor of Georgia, including:

  • Greenville, SC
  • Columbia / Lexington, SC
  • Augusta, GA
  • Savannah, GA and surrounding coastal Georgia counties

This is a prime geographic footprint with a strong mix of established relationships and untapped growth opportunity — ideally suited for a candidate who already lives in or is willing to relocate to one of the key market hubs.

What You'll Do

  • Own and grow an established DSM territory selling pre-engineered metal building systems to contractors, builders, and developers
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with erectors, general contractors, and design-build firms across the territory
  • Drive new business development while protecting and expanding the existing customer base
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for customers throughout the sales cycle
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction

Compensation

Base Salary -$60,000-$75,000 ( possibly more for the right candidate) + commission

Total Compensation $195,000-$300,000+

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a hunter and a closer — someone who knows this industry, knows these customers, and is ready to hit the ground running.

Primary Target:

  • Current or recent DSM/TSM at a competing pre-engineered metal building manufacturer
  • 10–15+ years of industry experience
  • Proven track record of territory ownership and growth

We Will Also Consider:

  • Sales professionals selling complementary products to the same contractor/builder customer base (metal roofing, roll-up doors, large commercial equipment, etc.)
  • Pre-construction estimators or contractors with deep familiarity with pre-engineered building systems who are ready to transition into a high-earning sales role
