Project Manager -Steel Erection
Our client, a well-established construction company specializing in Design-build, commercial construction, industrial construction, steel erection and pre-engineered metal buildings, seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead high-profile PEMB projects from start to finish.
What You’ll Do
- Manage complete PEMB project lifecycle – preconstruction through closeout
- Lead project teams including superintendents, engineers, and support staff
- Serve as primary client contact for owners, architects, and subcontractors
- Coordinate with PEMB manufacturers for design approvals and delivery schedules
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and change orders
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Drive cost control and value engineering initiatives
What You Need
Experience:
- 7-10+ years construction project management experience
- Minimum 5 years managing PEMB projects specifically
- Proven track record delivering projects on time and within budget
Skills:
- Knowledge of PEMB systems and erection processes
- Proficiency with project management software (Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam)
- Strong leadership and communication abilities
- Experience with various contract types (lump sum, GMP, cost-plus)
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management/Engineering or equivalent experience
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
